Turnover Box Molds

Turnover box molds are intended for the production of plastic logistics containers used in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. These molds must ensure consistent dimensional accuracy, impact resistance, and compatibility with automation systems like conveyors and stackers.

These molds often feature detailed internal structures such as interlocking edges, stacking ridges, and ergonomic handles. Structural strength is achieved through ribbing and reinforced corners, while design flexibility is maintained with modular inserts to create variations of box sizes within the same mold.

Cold or hot runner systems are selected based on production volume and resin type. Materials such as polypropylene (PP) and HDPE are widely used due to their balance of durability, light weight, and resistance to chemicals. Mold venting is carefully managed to ensure air escapes from deep or narrow features during injection.

Automation compatibility is another key factor. Turnover boxes often need to interface with robotic handling systems, so tight tolerance and repeatability in mold design are crucial. Quick cycle times and robust mold components make these molds ideal for high-output environments.
